PGNH is raffling THREE guns at the Manchester gun show, October 17 and 18, 2009

Raffles 1 2 3

[Posted October 14, 2009, at 8:30 p.m.] To provide further benefits to members of Pro-Gun New Hampshire, we have begun a program of raffling at least one -- and often more -- guns to members only.  At the Manchester gun show this weekend -- October 17 and 18, 2009 -- we will be displaying the above three guns as raffle prizes.  All are new and unfired, and come with manufacturers' boxes and papers.  The Taurus Judge raffle has already begun, but the other two raffles will begin on Saturday.  Drawings for each raffle will be held when all 100 tickets for that raffle have been sold.  The guns are as follows:

The Taurus "Judge" revolver shoots .45 Colt ("long Colt," to some) cartridges AND/OR .410 shotgun shells interchangeably -- and this is the model that accepts the longer 3-inch magnum shells, including a Winchester load containing FIVE triple-ought buck pellets.  DA/SA action; 5 shots; 3-inch barrel; stainless steel; weight 36.8 ounces.  "Ribber" grips reduce felt recoil; fiber optic front sight aids aiming.  Includes Taurus integral locking system with two keys.  MSRP: $634

The Kel-Tec P-3AT set the standard as the smallest, lightest .380 ACP pistol on the market, weighing only 8.3 ounces unloaded.  Six-shot magazine (plus one in the chamber); maximum width only 0.77 inches, barrel length 2.7 inches.  Double-action only trigger pull of five pounds.  This model has the hard-chrome slide and gray polymer body, and comes in a lockable plastic case.  MSRP: $377

The Para USA "GI Expert" is a full-size 1911 .45ACP pistol, written up in gun magazines as an extraordinary accomplishment from a company -- Para USA, formerly Para-Ordnance -- respected for quality and engineering.  It looks like the familiar GI version, but with significant improvements:  3-dot high-visibility sights, both front and rear dovetailed into the slide; lowered and flared ejection port; skeletonized lightweight trigger; skeletonized hammer; premium stainless steel barrel and full metal bushing (the gun is known for accuracy); Covert Black "Para-Kote" finish; beveled magazine well; flat mainspring housing; grip safety contoured for the hammer spur.  It comes with TWO 8-round magazines with removable baseplates, a bushing wrench, a cable lock, and a heavy-duty lockable plastic case.  As a special bonus, we have added a set of custom green-and-brown camo "Dymondwood" grips, in addition to the factory checkered grips.  MSRP:  $599 (pistol), $40 (custom grips)
